How often do I need to do yoga?

It is recommended to practise yoga 2-3 times a week to gain maximum benefit but of course, once a week is still good for your body, mind and soul!

Do I need to book into a class beforehand?

It is preferable that you do pre book your spot as spaces are limited at our studio. To book into your desired classes, just click here.

Do you have pregnancy yoga?

We don’t have a dedicated pregnancy yoga class but you are most welcome to join in any class & the teacher will make any necessary modifications depending on how far you are into the pregnancy. Some of our students are mums who practised yoga throughout their pregnancies with these modifications.

What do I need to bring/wear to class?

Wear something comfortable eg. Shorts/gym pants & T-shirt/singlet. In winter, wear layers. Bring your mat, some water and money/pass. If you don’t have a mat, you may hire one for $2 for the class.

How do I claim yoga classes with my health fund?

We can issue receipts for your yoga classes however all health funds have different criteria. Please contact your health fund for more information and send us an email request.

I have a new injury, can I still come to class?

It will depend on the type and severity of the injury, but for the most part, we definitely encourage maintaining your yoga classes as it is still very important to keep your body moving to some degree during the healing process. If it is a minor injury, please let the teacher know before the class starts so they can prepare modifications so as not to aggravate the injury. If you are unsure whether you should participate in a class or not, send us a quick email and we will work out what is best for you and your body.

Can I bring my child to yoga?

The minimum age we recommend to attend our yoga classes is 15 years old. We feel this is an age where they are more capable to stay focussed for the duration of the class and for most, they will mesh quite well with a group predominantly made up of adults. We are mindful that for some of our students, this may be the only time they get to themselves without distraction to regenerate their body, mind and spirit. We do offer a kids yoga program at our studio for those of you who would like to incorporate yoga into your child’s regular routine.
